Well we did it! We left at 7.00am and at 12.30pm we arrived at the Visitors Center. The walk was most enjoyable but pretty strenuous for us, we both have sore feet and sore other parts but....we did it!!!!!!
We did not see much wildlife and the weather was perfect for hiking about 60 degrees F.W we were up very high at one point and we thought it would never end.
We had a nice lunch in the park and we will be able to add 8.6 miles to our list. If we hike 100 miles in the 16 weeks that we are here we get a T Shirt...Yaaay, I am at 32 miles and Alice is at 28 so far.
That takes care of our two days off this week, next week we hope to do the whitewater rafting.
Back to the bus I go and back to the gift shop Alice goes for another five days.
Where did you get your walking sticks? Do you carry Bear Pepper Spray or have a little bell on your shoes? What is the time difference between here and there? Do you think Zebras are black with white strips or white with black strips? :):):)
