Here we are in Berlin a city neither of us had visited very much in the past and WOW what a place... people, history, sights, restaurants galore and 50 different Christmas Markets.
The weather has been very cold -7 Degrees Centigrade as a daily high. It has been freeeeezing but the atmosphere and layers of warm clothes makes this a fantastic city to visit,
Some of the sights to mention just a few...... The Berlin Wall where 1.3KM has been converted into an Art Gallery, Checkpoint Charlie, Brandenburg Gate, Charlottenburg Castle and the famouus Berlin TV Tower which is the highest structure in Berlin. We had so much to do here we extended our stay by a day.
We left Berlin on December 6th and took 3 trains to get to Rothenburg ob der Tauber a quaint little Chrismas Village where we will spend a few quiet days before we move on to Munich.
