January 2013 London, Scotland, Sicily and Paris

Well we had a nice trip to Europe with Lorraine and Courtney, we visited Kenny Sevenoaks an old South African friend in London and then onto Scotland where spent the rest of the week visiting family.
Lorraine and Courts flew back to SA and Alice and I flew to Sicily, unfortunately when we arrived in Palermo we were robbed of my backpack containing Kindle, GPS and new phone among other things.
We decided we were fortunate not to lose passports and cash and we did not let this slight mishap spoil our vacation.
Sicily was fantastic the people friendly and the food very good we rented a car and drove around the island.
We then flew to Paris for five days and did the usual tourist things in Paris, we visited the Eiffel Tower and the Louvre as well as lots of other interesting places.

We then flew home and it was the slowest transatlantic flight I have ever had the plane flew at barely 400mph there was a 200mph headwind most of the way over causing us to arrive late and miss our flight to Baton Rouge, we eventually got here and as usual we are glad to be home till the next adventure. I am going to attempt to post a few pics of the trip.
