Whitehorse and more Robert Service

We decided to treat ourself to a flight to Whitehorse and back on an old twin engine Hawker Siddely 40 seater turboprop . It was fun and brought back many memories of flying in these aircraft 30 years ago.

Whitehorse was much more civilized than Dawson City. This is where Robert Service worked in a bank before he became a famous poet. He wrote the likes of "The Cremation of Sam McGee" and "Dangerous Dan Mcgrew" in Whitehorse before he went to live in Dawson city and concentrate on poetry.

We visited a few tourist spots and a few good restaurants and returned to Dawson to drive back to Denali. Believe it or not our old $3500 car made it again.
We are both back at work today...
