After Many years of dreaming about this trip it has come true, I am really enjoying seeing the New Russia which is steeped in History. I t is very cold here at the moment and I did not bring the correct shoes or clothes.
Next Monday October 5th my tour begins and I am very excited about travelling through Siberia and Mongolia. For some reason the letters have changed to italics and with my minimal compuer skills I dont know how to get back to normal.
Moscow and St Petersburg are very different in Moscow you feel like you are in Russia but St Petersburg is like any vibrant European City, it is known as the Venice of the North and the people here are extremely frindly I lucked out and found a fantastic small hotel right in the heart of the City.
If you notice both of the churches look very similar I guess it was probably stylish in the 17th century if anyone knows more please let me know. There is a lot of reference to the Tzar's here I am sure it was a style during that period of history.
