Wow...!! What a great beginning. We flew from Houston to Frankfurt on a double decker Airbus A380, It was awesome. There were 428 economy class passengers, 9 first class and 98 business class, 12 crew beds in the basement. Will never be able to understand how anything so big can glide through the air.
We had a day long layover in Frankfurt so we took the train to Bad Homburg, a beautiful old city. Yesterday was a quiet catch up day.....took the bus and did a little shopping. Today we will go into Munich and see the Glockenspiel and the marketplace.
Germany is a beautiful country. Most of the houses have window boxes with vibrant flowers spilling everywhere... comfortable climate with mountains looming overhead.
Germany is beautiful but I am PROUD to be an American!! Happy Fourth of July.
