We have some relatives in NC Christi and Gordon and unfortunately they were both sick with a virus, Alice decided to go and help with the 11 month old baby Ivy Grace.
We drove from Louisiana and it was a long 12 hour ordeal with a two hour delay in Atlanta with the traffic at rush hour.
I have been exploring while Alice has been helping with the baby, Asheville is the nearest City and a real nice place especially in the Fall with all the leaves changing colors.
Today I took a trip along the "Blue Ridge Parkway" it was awesome but a bit cloudy in places.
We will be here for a few more days then it is back home again for a while.
