KOS, Greek Islands...May 6-14,

This week we are on the historic island of Kos. We left Mykonos on Wednesday to travel to Kos. We had a ferry layover on the island of Sylos. This was an amazing experience. It is a very old settlement that has pretty much been left to ruin, however they are now in the process of rebuilding the city. It is much more of a city atmosphere than Mykonos. It was a good experience. We left Sylos at 10:40pm. Experienced sailors that we are we tried to board the wrong ferry. We were quickly diverted back to the harbor. They are serious about their ferry business here in the islands.

Kos has been an amazing experience. Kos is the birthplace of Hippocrates. Today we saw the tree under which Hippocrates sat and instructed his students. Today we(Drew)swam in the sea. Life is hard we sleep late, swim in the sea and search for the best place for dinner. I will be worthless when this vacation is over. We are renting a scooter tonight. I will have more island adventures for you later.....
